Over the years, Favour has worked on high-level transactions and advisory matters, including project finance, debt and equity financing arrangements, EPC transactions, O&M transactions involving large corporations, consultancy transactions across various sectors, media licensing transactions, and real estate transactions worth billions of naira. She has also assisted foreign investors expanding into Nigeria and has been involved in several cross-border transactions, helping clients navigate the regulatory and commercial realities of doing business in new markets.
A significant part of her work involves startups and growing businesses. She works closely with founders to build strong foundations for their ventures by creating seamless legal structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and designing systems that protect their ideas while enabling growth. Favour studied law at the University of Benin and later attended the Nigerian Law School in Yola. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, and she strongly believes in Alternative Dispute Resolution, having initiated and handled several negotiations, mediations, and arbitration processes for clients.
Outside her commercial work, Favour is passionate about access to justice and community impact. She provides pro bono legal services through organisations such as The Ela Initiative, supporting indigent defendants and individuals in need of legal representation. She also co-hosted the weekly show Legal Matters on 88.5 UFM, where she helped demystify legal issues for thousands of listeners.
She is also a passionate public speaker and educator who enjoys sharing her insights on legal topics and issues on social media.
