Timothy Olamide Olaniyi, Esq., is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, currently serving as a Senior Associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Platinum and Taylor Hill LP. Since joining the firm as an NYSC associate in 2023, Timothy has demonstrated exceptional legal acumen, professionalism, and dedication, earning him rapid recognition and promotion within the firm.
Timothy is a seasoned commercial dispute resolution lawyer, actively representing the firm’s clients in a wide range of complex litigation and arbitration matters. He has appeared and advocated on behalf of clients before various Superior Courts of Record throughout Nigeria. Timothy has also played a significant role in high-profile arbitration cases, working closely with the firm’s Founder and Managing Partner, where his keen analytical skills and strategic thinking have contributed to successful outcomes for clients.

Timothy is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, where he earned a Second Class Upper degree in Law. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in 2021 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in December 2022, after successfully completing the Barrister at Law program.
He is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the NBA Section on Business Law. Timothy is also deeply committed to human rights advocacy as a member of the Otunba Lana Akintan (Human Rights) Defence Foundation, an indigenous organization based in his hometown of Oja-Odan, Ogun State—the first of its kind in the Ketu Kingdom of Yewa North Local Government.
