The Separation Of Men And Woman During Election

Do you know that in an election, the presiding officer can separate men and women?

The only condition for this is if the culture in that particular polling unit doesn’t permit the mingling of men and women.

As such, the presiding officer will create a separate queue for the men and women accordingly.

This is to ensure that even in the conduct of the election, cultural ethos is strictly adhered to.
